My approach to composition is inspired by a lifelong relationship with the guitar. My diverse musical experience playing in a variety of performance settings continues to inform the way I compose.
This site is a home for an ongoing body of work that brings my musical background together with film scoring and contemporary composition. It documents work I have developed for projects, including for grants, competitions, and submissions.
I trained in music composition and performance at the University of Manitoba, later studying composition at Humber College and completing the Screen Composers Guild of Canada mentorship program. Most recently, I received the full funding allocation from the Ottawa Youth in Culture Program to pursue artistic development at the 2026 Celtic Colours festival in Cape Breton.
My performance highlights include touring with the Broadway production of Chicago and performing as a guitarist with Princess Cruises throughout the Americas, as well as playing in professional dance and party bands. Additionally, I had the opportunity to play with renowned jazz musicians during my time studying performance in university.
